LENNY DAVIDSON


Leonard Arthur Davidson was born on the 30th of May 1942 in Enfield, Middlesex. His parents Irene and Leonard also had two other children,Margaret and George. After leaving school, Lenny worked for a steel tubing company. His first public appearance was at Enfield Technical College as part of a duo.His first serious group was the "Offbeats" and he later joined the "Impalas".While with the Dave Clark Five he played lead guitar and supplied backing vocals although he did perform lead vocals on a number of records.

Since leaving the Dave Clark Five, he was in the antiques trade for a while.Later,he decided to re-learn guitar and gained diplomas in various styles of guitar playing. He now teaches guitar for a living and is learning to play the violin.He currently plays "requinto" guitar in the "Cambridge Guitar Orchestra" along with his son,Max.Lenny has four children: Grant, Scott, Kelly and Max.He now lives in Cambridgeshire with his wife Linda.


Awards and Achievements

Lenny holds the following qualifications:

Teachers Diplomas of Associate London College of Music.

Diploma Trinity College of Music, classical guitar playing.
