RICK HUXLEY

 Richard "Rick" Huxley was born on the 5th of August 1940 in Dartford, Kent. His parents Frances and Albert also had two other children,David and Barbara. After leaving school, Rick worked as a lighting designer. His first public appearance was at the Trocadero.His first serious group was the "Riverside Blues Boys". He later joined the "Spon Valley Stompers" before joining the DC5. While with the Dave Clark Five he played bass guitar, rhythm guitar and supplied backing vocals.

On leaving the Dave Clark Five, Rick had his own music equipment shop for a while.Later,he went into wholesale electronics where he is still employed.

After the DC5 he played briefly with the "Barron Knights" and he was also with the groups "Cascade" and "Ridge".Rick has three children: Darryl, Mark and Nicola. He now lives in Essex.
